What You’ll Need

  • Basic computer skills

  • Familiarity with Apple computers

  • An Apple laptop or desktop computer less than 3 years old

  • An audio interface supporting microphone input, such as the Focusrite Scarlett 2i2

  • A dynamic or condenser microphone, such as the Shure SM57 or Audio-Technica AT2035

  • USB MIDI keyboard for musical entry, such as the Novation LaunchKey 25

  • High-quality headphones (not earbuds), such as the Sennheiser HD280
